Can’t say enough about Atlas Rehabilitation. Starting from the 1st day we came until now. Nurses are great. Staff members are great too. The whole therapy team are great. I love my two nurses, Dina and Theresa. I will miss them tremendously. And my favorite CNA, Grace. Thank you for everything. My mother was in good hands here at Atlas.

I stayed one week at Atlas subacute care after knee replacement surgery. I can only say good things about the facility. All the nurses, aids, PT/OT people, doctors and the Social workers were excellent. It made my stay there very comfortable.

The staff at Atlas Maywood are some of the most caring, compassionate, and skilled healthcare workers we’ve encountered. Their level of communication, responsiveness, and extensive knowledge about each of their patient’s needs and progress was impressive. My dad was brought there after a very negative experience at a different subacute facility for physical therapy. After just a short period of time, my dad was doing better than we’ve seen in years. Not only did they expedite his recovery and progress, but they made up for the errors of the other facility in no time.

Between his mobility, strength, and overall spirit/well being, he has been doing better than ever, and we are so thankful to the excellent care and team at Atlas. They have plenty of staff and attend to everything from a medical and personal perspective but also go above and beyond with that extra personal touch of true care, connection, and concern. Another bonus was that my dad also raved about how good the food was, and upon leaving they gave my dad a parting gift care package. Thank you to Dr. Pantagis, Catia, and the entire team. We are forever grateful.

I am leaving Atlas today after a month of healing after open heart surgery. I cannot thank these people enough for the wonderful care. Jay, my aide, was one of the most conscientious, hardworking, kind and respectful people I have met. He made me feel safe which allowed me to heal quicker.
I will forever be grateful to him. My physical therapy team, Ken, Elmer and the girls were great. I learned patience from them. They forced me to take breaks and heal safely.

The nurses, Lori, Julie and all the other were great and took the time to explain things to me. Dr. P. And Michael were kind and put up with me always asking to go home. Thankfully they kept me till they were sure I was ready! I will miss the other patients who were kind to me.

My Aunt had yet another fall – with the accompanying hospital stay. Since We haven’t been thrilled with some local rehab stays she’s had in the past- we opted to try Atlas at Maywood from the recommendation of a neighbor. What a difference! This is a warm and welcoming place – a real gem hidden inside a residential neighborhood. The Rehab – Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and the Speech therapist are excellent -and so pleasant as well. Her evening aide is my favorite- so loving and caring and funny! The physical building is clean and bright and sunny. The Receptionists- I’ve met several- are really nice and helpful. Food- good- Nurses-Helpful And they have a Concierge during the day that is a big help as well. Best experience in a skilled nursing facility to date and we’ve been to several. Highly recommended! Lesson learned- dont take the advice of Hospital workers who are just trying to get patients out of the hospital – ask around for personal referrals!! Thank you Atlas.

I am beyond happy I listened to the hospital social worker and sent my mom to Maywood Rehab. She had a stroke and it has been a very ifficult time for all of us. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smiling face and she is always so helpful too. I love the staff upstairs, their help has been tremendous and I have nothing but kind words to say about her therapists. Thank you Maywood for all you do.

My grandma just came home from her rehab stay at Maywood. She broke her ankle, ended up in the hospital and needed rehab. A friend recommended Maywood. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is clean, the nursing staff was so helpful and all of her therapists were terrific. Grandma even enjoyed the food and she is a really picky eater. Highly recommended.

1. This nursing home has a beautiful exterior and interior, clean, orderly and welcoming. When inside you are greeted by a young lady who is very congenial, helpful and professional. In speaking to the Nurse’s Aides they are very kind, warm and friendly. When with the patients they really make them feel cared for and wanted.
